Venus RF is an advanced non surgical treatment that will target and improve the general signs of aging including pigmentation, wrinkles, scarring and uneven skin tone.

How does it work?

Venus skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat, via nano fractional radio frequency (RF), through the skin’s surface to amplify collagen and elastin production.

How many treatments are required?

Between 1-4 treatments may be required spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Precare

Pain & downtime

The 1 hour treatment is mildly uncomfortable and we apply topical numbing cream beforehand.

Most patients will experience a mild sunburn like sensation that lasts 2 to 5 hours
Moderate redness with some swelling, immediately after and lasting up to 12 – 36 hours
Raised, red marks may be present and will fade shortly after treatment.
Skin will feel rough to the touch and will resolve in 1 week
The treated area is generally sensitive to heat for 2 days following treatment

Aftercare

Use Ultimate Recovery for 24 hours post treatment and no cleansing for 24 hours.
You can use the recovery kit until downtime has finished (approx 7-10 days) and then can resume normal skincare routine.
After 24 hours apply SPF 50.
Do not apply make up 24 hours after treatment. Make sure brushes and sponges are clean to minimise potential infection.
No exercise, strenuous activity or sun exposure for 24 hours post treatment.
No swimming for at least 24 hours post treatment.
