How many treatments are required?
Results will be seen after 1 treatment but a course of 3-4 is often required depending on your skin concerns and level of damage.
Precare
Purchase of a recommended brightening/pigment inhibitor serum will be required 2 weeks prior to treatment
Apply sunscreen everyday leading up to your treatment
Avoid extended sun exposure and sun tanning
Please ensure you have no fake tan on the skin.
Avoid isotretinoin (roaccutane) for 6 months
Avoid topical retinols/ Vit A serums for one week prior to treatment
Pain & downtime
Pain is mildly uncomfortable and topical anaesthetic will be applied before your treatment.
Downtime with redness and swelling is expected for the first 2-3 days. Your skin will feel warm and flushed for 1-2 days and dry and rough for up to a week. You can expect to see darkening of your pigment in the week following your treatment.
Aftercare
Please only use the post treatment skin care kit provided to you for 7-10 days
Avoid active serums and skincare for 7-10 days
Avoid excessive sun exposure for 7-10 days
Avoid exercise, saunas, spas for 24 hours
Apply SPF 50 daily
